Fashion Designer & Visual Artist
Where fashion becomes sculpture,
and memory becomes form.
"Familiar objects,
unexpected forms."
Hi, I'm Kiran Akbar Gohar, a fashion designer and visual artist whose practice explores the intersection of fashion, sculpture, and storytelling.
Working across garments, installation, and illustration, I create playful yet conceptually driven work inspired by memory, childhood, and the everyday. Through surrealism and satire, I transform familiar objects into unexpected forms, encouraging viewers to look beyond the surface and engage with the narratives hidden within ordinary experiences.

Conceptual Fashion Collection, 2024
A conceptual fashion collection exploring the transition from girlhood to womanhood through childhood memory and domestic space.
Inspired by my own experiences, the project transforms familiar household objects into surreal wearable forms, questioning how everyday rituals and expectations shape identity from an early age.
Through a soft, hyper feminine visual language, the collection contrasts innocence with deeper social narratives, inviting viewers to reconsider the relationship between play, domesticity, and gender.
